Classes

“At Integrative Physical Therapy you will receive a personalized approach to fitness”

Pilates 

A traditional mat class focusing on strengthening the core (abdominals, buttocks, and back), increasing flexibility, and improving overall health and musculoskeletal balance.    Small weights, bands, balls, and Pilates circles are used to add variety and challenge to traditional exercises. Taught by a Physical Therapist, class size is limited so personal attention can be given to all participants to ensure proper form and maximum results.  

MONDAYS
: 9:30 am and 4:30 pm
THURSDAYS:  9:30 am

F.I.T. (Functional Integrated Training)

A balanced exercise class incorporating stretching and strengthening principles from multiple exercise forms including yoga, martial arts, and Pilates.  This class is designed to strengthen and tone the arms, legs, and core while increasing flexibility and function.  Exercises adapted to suit the individual.

Thursdays: 5:30pm- 6:30pm

Strength Training Sessions

  • Small group or individual training sessions
  • Sessions  by appointment only
  •  $45.00/30minutes
  • Taught by a Physical Therapist utilizing free weights,
    Swiss balls, foam rollers, and weight bearing exercises
  • Sessions tailored to client’s individual needs

Aquatic Fitness Classes

  • Cardiovascular and muscle conditioning with minimal impact and low stress to the body
  • Intervals of cardiovascular work , strength training, and range of motion exercises are taught in the deep and shallow ends of the pool with a special focus in core control

Body in Balance

This class is designed for those who need to improve their endurance and balance for standing activities as well as build upper body strength.  Exercises are performed in sitting and standing (as tolerated) and focus on postural principles, light weights for arms, hip, knee, and ankle strengthening exercises and stepping patterns.   All abilities are welcome and exercises will be modified to your level.

Thursdays: 10:30 am- 11:30 am
